Adelaide, Nov. 1. AS Lasseter's Reef, Aus- tralia's lost Eldorado, been found?.

This question is being ask- ed here following return to Adelaide to-day of an ex- pedition which went into the Australian wilds in search of the lost reef.

The expedition have come back with rich specimens of gold-bearing ore.

They refuse to disclose where the ore came from. But they admit that they have pegged out large arcas,

The story of Lasseter's Reef; has excited prospectors in Aus- tralia for more than 30 years. Young Harry Lasseter, lost in the Austrailan wilds, found reef "with yellow stuff in it as thick as plums in a puilding.' He gathered a few specimens and set off along the trail back to civilisation.

But he became lost. He Was found by an Afghan camel driver, raving with thirst, but still clutch- ing his bag of gold.
