Skipton as to what precautions they had taken, witness said that if there was a piece of iron projecting close to the high tension wire, they would not do anything, as the wire was heavy and would not swing much. During a typhoon, however. they inspected the wire to see if it was swinging much before taking any action. The high tension wire was alive from 6 pm. la GR.M. only. He did not know whether the owner of the flagpole had been warned of the high tension wire by the Company.

The hearing was then adjourned until 2.30 p.ni, on Tuesday, Septen- ber 21.
