Really, it is not a com- petition, for they have agreed to share the pro- ceeds when they eventually. win them.

In 1928 some 632 people enter- ed a competition for a £14.000 prize offered jointly by the Rockefeller Foundation and the Muyo Institute, the object of which was to discover the physi- cal reactions of human beings to various foods under different liv- ing conditions.

Since that day six of the com- petitors have been killed, 73 have died, and all but three have

violated the rules in some way.

Miss Loy declared that her connection with Metro-Goldwyn- Mayer was "finished" She did not comment on the possibility of that company trying to force her to adhere to their contract.

"Soak the Rich" will be releas- ed through Paramount Pictures, it is stated.
