Sir Laurie Hammond, Chairman of the Committee appointed at the end of July to make recommenda- tions for the delimitation of con- stituencies in the future Indian Federal and Provincia Legisin- tures, left London tu-day for India, accompanied by the Secre- tary of the Committee, Mr. J. G. Laithwait. The two other mem- bors, who are in India, are Mr. Justice Rao, and Mr. Justice Din Muhammed.
The Committee will start its work at Simla on September 28 and will thereafter tour various provinces. Sir Laurie Hammond will also pay a special visit to Burma.

Wa Wah, a widow, pleaded guilty before Mr. Mucfadyen at the Central Magistracy this mor ning to keeping a brothel on the second floor of 33 Tung Street.
Sub-Inspector Thorpe stated that the premises were patronised by Chinese and at the time of the rald there were three girls and eleven men present. It was a rather large-scale brothel. The floor was raided on August 21. but the defendant was not the principal tenant at the time.
Failing to appear on a charge of keeping a brothel on the first floor, of 25, Graham Street, ani- other woman, Wong Fuk, for- feited $75 ball.
The usuni order against both houses was made by the Magis- trate.

It is stated that Herr Hitler de himself preparing the statement, which will probably be read by General Gooring, Prouident of the Reichstag, who made
