CHURCHILL CLASHES WITH AMERY

Mr. Churchill and Mr. Amery had "words" in the House of Com- mona recently when the Home Secretary submitted two motions, the first of which asked the House to agree with certain paragraphs in the report of the Select Com- mittee on Witnesses, and the second to provide that no document re- ceived by the clerk of any Select Committee shall be withdrawn or altered without the knowledge and approval of the Committee, and that this order be a Standing Order of the House.
