The debate arose out of state- ments which Mr. Churchill made in Parliament against Sir Samuel Hoare and Lord Derby in reference to the evidence which certain wit- before the nenses were to xlve India Joint Select Committee.
The Committee of Privileges in- vestigated, and exonerated Lord Derby and Sir Samuel Hoare.
