RECENT RAINFALL

The heavy rains of the past week or so have resulted in a plen- tiful supply of water being avail able in the Colony's reservoirs, and the Water Authority an- nounces that as from Monday next. July 8, there will be a constant supply of water to all districts on the island of Hongkong.

A constant supply was given to Kowloon a little while ago, follow- ing replenishment of the voira on the mainland by heavy rain.
