Pun Chi-fan, Trafic Inspector, testified that he was on duty at the Kowloon Station at 3.30 p.m. on' July 1 when his attention was drawn to the defendant by the head watchman. Witness approach- ed the defendant and overheard him attempting to sell the return half of a third-class Canton ticket, to a Chinese lady and gentleman, but they refused.

Replying to his Worship, the witness said a return half ticket was good for one week.
