A gay, romantic comedy of a hand- nome beauty doctor to whom thou- sands of women flock for his "apcein" treatments, "Klas and Make-Up" has ita Initial screeninga 16-morrow at the Queen Theatre. This picture was produced by B. P. Schulberg at the Paramount studios, with 'Cary Grant, Genevieve Tulin, Helen Mack and Edward Everett Herton in the prin- cipal roles. The flo presents Cary Grant as the owner and chlef doctor of a modern temple of beauty which the entire feminine population flocks, begging for his treatment. One of his patients, Genevieve Tobin, wealthy wife of Edward Everett Hor 160, is just about through with her series
of treatments, which have mość turned her into the doctor's beautiful and perfect creation. The doctor falls in love with her. The husband, fed up with all the beauty- regulations, walks out and leaves her to now love. Grant marries her with a heart full of romance, but his blias is completely ruined when he comes face to face with the effects of his stringent beauty roles. He realizes she is just a creation of powder and paint. How escapes and even-
in ually finds his heart-mate simple unspoiled girl who needs no make-up to bring out her charms. brings the film to a happy ending. The supporting cast includes Lucien Littlefield, Mona Maris, Toby Wing, Dorothy Christie and others. Harian Thompson dirveteu.
