AIR FORCE MACHINES ON RECORD DASH
Two Royal Air Force Singa- pore III flying boats will at tempt a record making dash from Singapore to Hongkong on June 20, Information to this effect was made public yesterday.
The machines will be the largest yet seen in this Colony. Powered with four 500-horse power engines, they have a cruising range and speed far in excess to any other flying boat in the Far East. They are two of the machines of No. 205 Squadron attached to the R.A.F. in Singapore, and recently flew out
there from Home.
