The remains of the late Sergeant Kennedy were laid to rest in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Happy Valley, last evening, the Rev. Father A. Rossello officiating at the graveside. There was a large attendance of colleagues and friends.

The pall-bearers were Sub-In- spector Whelan, Acting Sub-In- spector Smith, Acting Sub-Inspec- tor Loughlin, Sergeants Nolan, Browne, MacHardy, Baker and Galvin.
