Little Wins British Title Again

London, May 25. By beating 38-year-old Dr. William Tweddell by one hole in the final of the British Amateur Golf Champion- ship at St. Annes to-day, W. Lawson Little holds the distinction of being the fret American to win the title twice.

Ito captured it for the first time last year.

Little is the third player to have won the competition two 'years run- ning, only Harold Hilton, in 1000 and 1901, and Horace Hutchison, in 1886- and 1887, having accomplished the. feal before.

The young San Francisco player had to fight very hard to beat Tweddell, who almost collapsed owing to the strain, on the Inst green, and was assisted to the club-house.

Little was three up at the end of the morning round, is score being 73 and Tweddoll's 76.
