To the rapidly growing band of fallen giants in the local lawn bowls championships must now be added the name of R. F. Luz, of the Craigengower C. C. who failed to survive the first round of the singles event yesterday afternoon when pitted against A. E. Silkstone, of the Kow- loon Cricket Club, the latter winning by 21 shots to 14.on the 22nd head in a match that produced a high standard of bowls.
