The fature of the Queen's Dispensary formed the subject of the public examination of Ma Kat-long, alias My Sni-keng, aliak Ma Kwong Ling-tung, managing partner, before the Chief Justice. Mr. A. 1. A. MacGregor, in the Bankruptcy Court this morning.
Mr. J.J. Hayden. Omeint Re- ceiver, stated that after the first meeting of creditors the fem was dissolved. It could not be woond up ander the Companies Ordin- ance as the partnership, compris. ing 20 members two of whom rad died, was not registered. The fem's Habilities totalled $31,889.45 with 39,808,32 arts. The mun- nging partner did not know where the other partners were.
Mr. J. T. Prior, for the petition- ing vredilog, said he did not think the managing partner held him- self but as head of the business. The depositors had taken all the profits of the firm for stars, and the interest was very high.
Mr. Hayden remarked that the profits had never been distributed and the firm had been losing money stendily for the past eight years. It would be a frightful hartship if an adjudication order could not be matte.

The examination was closed.
NO ASSETS
A pelition for hearing brought. by Chong Sing-hung and Wong | Siu-ping. trading as the Pacific Rubber Company, was dismissed on the application of Mr. Hayden. on the grounds that there were no assets.
Mr. F. X, D'Almoda, jun.. for! the petitioners, agreed that that
was so.

A receiving order was made against the Century Company. Wong Shin-ping, one of the part-
of the
debtor firm. in evidence stated the fiabilities were $30,000 odd and the assets $62,000, good debis amounting to $0,000.
Mr. Hayden did not oppose the petition,
Applications for discharge from bankruptcy. were ranted to Gregorio Maria Xavier. Leung Shiu-tak and Mak On-tai.
MAY ENJOY JUBILEE Discharging Xavier, the Chief Justice said: The debtor may enjoy the Jubilee relebrations without the stigma of bankruptcy.
Chan Kwan-mo, against whom u receiving order WAB made on March 30 last, was publicly examined.
Mr. M. W. Lo appeared for the judgment creditor.
Chan Kwan-me, replying to the Oficial Receiver, stated he was 29 years of age and came to work in The Colony at the age of 16. He had an aged father who was a Chinese doctor without any means. Debtor worked at the Sun Company for six years, then at the Sincere Company for three yrars, after which he joined the Kwong Wah Company.
