The funeral of the late Mr. Henry John Howard, for. · Aftoon years connected with the Standard- Vacuum Oil Company, whose death occurred in Canton on Friday, took place at the Colonial Cemetery, Happy Valley, yesterday, evening, In the presence of a large gather- ing of relatives and friends.

The deceased, who was only 35 years of age, was a keen tennis player and a member of both the Craigengower Cricket Club and the Kowloon Tong Garden City Club, having formerly resided in Hongkong. He is survived - by n widow, three children, two brothers, Mr. W. J. Howard and Mr. E. Howard (Shanghai), a sister, Mrs. T. Lay, and an aged grandmother....
