Robert Donat to Play

"Robin Hood”

Robert Donat, the British star of stage and screen, who made a sen- sational debut in American motion pictures in the title role of "The Count of Monte Cristo," is return- ing to the United States to appear In his second Hollywood-made pro- duction.

He will star in a film version of "Robin Hood' for Reliance Pic- tures, producers of "Monte Criste," Actual production of "Robin Hood" is being scheduled to coincide with Donat's arrival from Britain. He will leave for Hollywood- im mediately on completion of his presont engagement, the Gaumont- British version of John Buchan's "Thirty-nine Steps,"

Preparations for the Acreen adaptation of the new picture have already been started in Hollywood. Plaus for more than 50 settings are being drawn. Casting is to proceed immediately, and players to support Donat will be announced shortly.
