In making the presentation on behalf of the staff, Mr. B. Wylle, the General Manager, expressed his regret at Mr. Kelleher's soverance of his connection with the firm, and said that although Mr. Kelleher came to Hongkong from Australia three years ago as an experienced journalist, he feli aure that Mr. Kelleher's three years here had not act him back in his journalist career, Mr. Wylle concluded by wishing him the best of luck.

Replying briefly, Mr. Kelleher thanked Mr. Wyllo for his kind "remarks, and said he had had a happy time with the firm. Hie work as night-editor had been rendered easier. by the co-opera- tion of the stoff..

Mr. Kellenor arrived here three years ago from Australia, where he was on the staff of the Rock- hampton Bulletin, and became night-editor of the South China Morning Post about six months ago. He will return to Australia after a trip to Japan for which place ho is due to sail on Wednes- day next.

CENTRAL THEATRE REDUCTION FOR ADMISSION

Hongkong cinema-goers will benefit materially from the decl sion of the Management of the Central Theatre, which is showing first-class plctures simul- taneously with the Alhambra, to reduce its admission prices as from to-morrow.

Patrons of this West End theatre will now be enabled to see some of the best filma pro- duced at their premiere release in the Colony for as low as 35 cents, taclusive of tax.

The admission charges to the Dress Circle have been reduced to $1.10, back stalls 55 cents and front stalls 35 cents.
