KWEICHOW.GOVERNMENT TO EASE BURDEN

Kweichow, April 8. It is offelally announced that ini compliance with an order of the Ministry of Finance the Kwei- ehow Províncial Government has decided to abolish no less than forty-four kinds of illegal taxes in the province, the elimination of which means freeing the people of the province of a heavy and un- necessary burden.

The Provincial Government has also pledged itself not to increase land rates as a means to recoup the kisses incurred.-Central News Agency.
