Sherwood, R.N., who will relate hin experiences on the famous cruise of the ketch Taimoshan from Hongkong to Plymouth twelve months ago.

Lt. Cmdr. Sherwood was one of the five Hongkong naval officers who left Hongkong in the Taimoshan on June 1, 1933,". After many exciting experiences they arrived homo Juno 1 Inst year. The voyage from Hong- | kong was 'regarded "ns”a-fino feat and Intribute to the crew and the craft, a 24-ton ketch constructed in Hong kong. Lt. Cmdr Sherwood was the leader of the party, his companions being Lt. R.F.P. Ryder, Lt. P.S. Francis, L. G.S. Salt and Surg. Lt. Ommancy-Davis. Last month the Taimoshan was purchased by the fritish Admiralty for training of Jualor offfrers in bandling, sailing vessels it in probable that the véssel will go around with the llomo Fleet and if the scheme is successful mere yachts may be purchased.

Incidentally, Lt. Cmitr. Sherwood has written a book "The Voynge of the Talmoshan" on his experiences.
