Styles in Eyebrows? No

Such thing, Says Max Factor

Wemen are forover seeking to change the shape of their brown. And yet, according to Max Factor, famous Hollywood Make-Up nu thority, there are not and never should be styles in eyebrows.

"It is all well and proper for a woman to tailor her brows," declar-

Max Factor who has groomed nomo of the world's most famous faces, "but to distort them into freak shapes--never]"

"A simple rule is to pattern the brows to conform with Nature--by following the natural arch above the eyes. But never pluck them in a way that makes them turn down- ward, for that makes a person look abaurd and adds years to une's sgo.'

"For a woman to shave off her brows completely and then draw # thin imaginary brow with a penell

ofy dear Mr. Facter;

not only makes her appear ridiculous

but destroys her entire facial ex pression."

"Eyebrows are the most con- apicuous features of the face."

"When people are conversing they always look into each other's eyes, This along should make a woman thoughtful of the care of her brown."

Max Factor named Joan Craw- ford, Norma Shearer, Myrna Loy, Ruby Keeler, Dolores Del Rio and Anita Louise as shining examples of well-groomed women on and off the screen..

"Their eyebrows are not 'atyled"," said Max Factor, "beenuse there. are no styles in eyebrows. Each one studles and follows the molding of her own face."

"A grand tip for other women!"
