With the tennis championships| held up for over a week one is apt- to forget the present state of the tournament and the following analysis niny be of interest.

In the open singles H. D. Rum- jabn. Paul Kong, S. A. Rumjahın, Ho Ka-lau and Taul Wal-pul have qualified for the quarter-finals.
