ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE ASSOCIATION HELD YESTERDAY

Glowing tributes, to the work of Mr. H. Hampton, the retiring. Honorary Secretary of the Hongkong Lawn Bowls Association were paid by Mr. I E. Maughan, President, and representatives of clubs in the League at the annual general meeting of the Association, held yesterday afternoon in the board room of Meners, Jardine, Matheson and Co.

Regret was also expressed at the Intention of the 'Talkoo “Itecreation Club-to-withdraw from the Pirat-Division of the League. It was suggested that Tafkoo should reconsider their decision, but Mr. T. F. Stainton, who represented the Club, told the meeting that their decision to enter the Second Division wag definite.
