ACCUSED DRIVER'S

STORY:

SESSIONS TRIAL

Loung Yim, lorry driver, ar raigned on a charge of the manslaughter of a seven-year-old boy named Lau Cheuk-so as a result of accused's lorry colliding with a Flat car on Island Road on January 29, gave evidence on his own behalf to-day and asserted that the accident was caused by the Fiat car cutting in from its Incorrect side to its left side of the road...

The case opened on Tuesday and is being heard by the Chief Justice, Mr. Justice A. D. A. Mac- Gregor and a jury. Mr. J. A. Fraser, Assistant Attorney Gon- oral, represents the Crown and Mr. R. C. H. Lim, instructed by Mr. Peter H. Sin, appears for ac- cused.
