British Wirelcas states that the Board of Admiralty have now re viewed the proceeding of the recent Courts Martial held at Portsmouth and arising out of a collision be- tween H.MS. Hood and H.M.S. Renown on January 3. After care- fu! examination they dissent from the finding of the Court Martial held for the trial of Rear-Admiral Balley to the following extent. Rear-Admiral Balley adopted an unusual procedure in directing H.M.S. Hood and H.M.S. Renown to stoor definite courses. to close.
