LOCAL SOCCER RETURNS
TO THE NORMAL
FULL PROGRamme of LEAGUE GAMES THIS WEEK-END
NAVY FORCED TO MAKE EIGHT CHANGES IN TEAM
(By "Veritas")
Local football makes a welcome return to normal league pro- gramumes this afternoon and to-morrow, last week's postponed fixtures being brought forward. Once again we find South China "A", who are slightly behind the rest of the first division teams in the number of matches played, engaged in two games, while similar demands are being made of the Royal Welch Fusiliers. With the Navy playing South; Rutger: Gamble and S. Strange; Chinn "A" this afternoon, I would Hynes, Skinner and A. Duncan; ordinarily regard the Chinese un Fowler, Forrow. Howe, and beaten record as being in danger, Rikkford.
Kowloon should be able to hold but the "Nauticals" have been so badly affected by the departure of the East Lancashires to a draw, some of the Fleet, that their team! unless the strange Chatham Road. civiliana. upsets to-day is quite unrecognianble to ground

EIGHT CHANGES
A fortnight ago the Navy turned out the following side which very nearly beat South Chinn in the Senior Shield:-Pepper; Ryecroft, and West; Pyatt, McGuire, and Love; Roberts, Cousens, Gray, Cannell and Skinner. To-dny only Gray, Roberts and Skinner remili of that team, and the Navy will field the following strange and unknown combination:
Cocker (Hermes); Beard and
(Hermes): Мокм
Hughes (Hermes) Bennett (Berwick) and Goodrich (Daging); Kiley (Cornwall) Roberts (Cornwall) Gray (Daring) Constable (De. light) and Skinner (Duncan).
The last named is captain, and the reserves are:-Galding (De ilght), Lancashire (Defender), Phillips (During). and Stanley
(Dainty).
South China anticipate one, or Tay at the most two, changes. Qua-ilang is almost certain to re- main an absentee, and Tum Kong- pak will play at inside left, with Wong Mee-shun at inside right. Loung Wing-chul will again appear | at contre-half. Ip pak-wa may not turn out, in which case Lee Hung-ching will probably be in- troduced.
