DERBY PONIES DO SLOW WORK

With both the Derby grißns and subscription griffins content with only slow work there was no outstanding gallop registered among them in the training yesterday morning at Happy Valley. Dynasty's King's Jubie gave put ins CHAOTAL RESMade of his speed, when he covered the mile in the satisfactory time of 2.12.2, last quarter 31.2. Under F. Marshall this mount is certain to command much attention by the time the annual meeting comes round.. Mrs. Pearce's Foxbridge, from the same stable, did the mile in one second faster, but his last quarter was not so impressive as that of King's Jubilee.

Mrs. Pearco's Felbridge and Wadebridge were amongst the improving subscription grillins together with Messrs. Lewis and

Tinson's Sci-fa.

The fastest gallop of the morning was the one done by Mr. EL Hosie's Streamline, which did the six furlongs in the excellent time of 1.26.4, last quarter 28.2 seconds. His quarters were 30.2, 28 and 28.2. After this gallop he is sure to be much fancied for the Sydney Maiden Stakes. Other notable Australian gallopera were Got That, The Bean Goose and Vixen Tor.
