Washington, Jan. 29.. The House of Representative to-day passed a Bill prolonging the life of the Reconstruction Finance Corporation for another two years. The R.F.G would otherwise automatically have come to an end on January 31.

The Bill has already passed Senata but will be returned to the Senate for approval of the Amend ments assed by the House- Router.

RETURNS

London, Jan. 29.

The latest Treasury returne show that the total ordinary re venue for the Financial year up to January 26 amounts to 4508,- 860,213, as compared with 2515,- 626,662 for the corresponding period of last year. Including self-balancing revenue the figures are £580,376,218 and £586,004,652 respectively.

Income Tax collected fast week amounted to £13,832,000, bringing the total to date to £122,198,000, against £116,083,000 at the corre sponding date last year.
