The hearing was concluded at York County Court recently of the caso in which Joseph Southerton, manufacturers' agent, of Billot Road, Walthamstow, claimed'. £100 damages for Injuries to himseit and his motor-car when a police constable on the look-out for two stolen motor-cars swung a storm lamp through the windscreen and Southerton's face was cut by the xlass.
