UPSETS IN CUP FOOTBALL
CHELSEA HUMBLED BY LUTON
PORTSMOUTH AGAIN IN WINNING FORM
London, Jan, 16.
Sensational defeats of Chelsea at Luton, and Huddersfield on their own territory, were the features of to-day's English Cup replays. Another London team to "take the count" was West Ham, who made a fruit- less journey to Stockport, losing to the Third Division team by the only goal scored.
Bristol City surprised and delighted their sup- porters by travelling to Bury and holding the Second Division outfit to a draw of two goals each, but un- doubtedly the greatest achievement must be credited to Portsmouth, last year's Cup finalists, who went all the way to Huddersfield and won by the odd goal in five.
