At the Kowloon Magistracy this morning, Mr. E. W. Hamil- ton fixed December 28 at 215 p.m. and January 8 at the same -hour for hearing of the case in which Frederic Barretto and Luiz Antonio da Itocha are be ing charged on three counts re- lating to the alleged kidnapping of Luiz Ribeiro, aged six years, from No. 7 Hanoi Road, Kow Joon.
Mr. J. A. Fraser, Assistant Attorney General, appeared for the Crown this morning, when the accused, who had been remanded from yesterday,

In stating that he would not give an outline of the case this morning, Mr. Fraser said that the investigations of the Crown had atill a little way to go, but he would be ready in a week's time. Ho mentioned that the evidence for the Crown would be relatively brief.

Sir Philip said these proposals, which are the re- sults of many months of work by the Air Ministry and Post Office, in consultation with Imperial Airways, were approved by British Government in the late Summer and subsequently communicated to other Empire Gov- ernments concerned.
