The meeting of the 1st and 2nd, Battalions in 1932. The Battalions are shown receiving H.E. the Governor and Commander-in- Chief, General Sir Alexander J. Godley, G.C.B., K.C:M.G., on the Alemada Parade Ground. The two previous occasions when the Balta- Hons met were in 1880 and 1914. When this photo was taken the lat. Battalion were returning from the Sudan mfter 15 years' survice abroad, bound for Tidworth.

On several occasions the Battalion has bauten "Retreat" in H. M, ships in Gibraltar Harbour. Here the

Drums are performing in H.M.S. Nalion.
