London, Noy. 21.

Despite fog which reduced visi bility to à few yards, immense chearing crowds gattered at Vic- lorin Station and bred the raule to Buckingham Painee alone which Princess wearatin and the Duke of Kent drove on their arrival in Lon- don this allernuon,

Many old realdents will regret to learn of the death of Mr. Alexander Watson, former Sant tary Department Inspector In llangkong, who passed away at Inverness, Scotland, on Monday, at the age of 69 years.

The late Mr. Watson, who came to Hongkong as a police constable in 1887, with a batch later known as "The Forty Thieves,” retired in 1917, after 30 years' service with the Government. He had been Hving in Scotlund over since.
