| CRAIGENGOWER CLUB CLOSING DAY
PRIZES PRESENTED.
The Cralgengower Cricket Club was Jen foto yesterday, when_the_Lawn' Bowls Closing Day was held. During the afternoon a match between the "Bald fends" and "Non-Bald Heads" was staged, which resulted in a win for the "Non-Bald Heads," by 138 shots to 185.
After the match, prizes for xue jcessen in the different branches of sport were distributed by Mrs. B. W. Bradbury, wife of Mr. B. W. Brad- bury, President of the Club, This was followed by a dance in the Club Hall.
Before Mrs. Bradbury presented the prizes, Mr. Crodbury, addressing those present, cammented on the very successful year which the Clubs had en- Joyed; especially in Lawn Bowls. They had, he said, won the First Division title of the League, and, in doing so, had created a record by winning the League about seven times during the past ten years, They had about 64 playing members during the season, and he was quite sure no other club could boost of me many 1 enthusiastle bowlers.
Mr. Bradbury also commented on the tennis and cricket leagues, in which the Club had not fared too well, ant be said he hoped they would do better during the coming reason.
