WATER RETURNS.

LARGE INCREASE IN STORAGE OVER LAST YEAR

The water returns for last month show that on October 1 there was a total storage on the Island of 2,395.- 40 million gallons, compared with 2,042.77 on the same day last year. Four reservoirs were overflowing. Inter- namely. Tytam, Tytam mediate, Tytam Tuk and Aberdeen Lower. Tytam Byewash was 1ft. 2 ins below-level, Wongnelchong b Ins., Pokfulam Sins, and Aberdeen Lower 1 in.
