Mr. John Boyd, of the Sanitary Department, n well-known figure In Colony football elreles, is lying in the Kowloon Hospital with a frac tured collar bone as a result of a motor-cycle accident last night,
As far as is known, Mr. Boyd waa riding his machine along Salisbury Road, when he had occasion to brake sharply. He was thrown over the front of his motor-cycle and foll heavily on the road.
He was admitted to hospital but his condition is not serious.
Mr. Boyt liven at the Y.M.C.A, Kowloon, and played in the Second Division of the Football League last Ведлот for the Hongkong Football Cph. He plays centre half, and his Injury is not thought to bo serious enough to keep him absent from the game for long.
