TAM YOC FONGTM LEAVING

Tam Yoc-fong, Hongkong Interporter and former school. boy champion of Hanoi, will not be competing in the Hongkong lawn tennis championships next year, as he is returning to Indo- China on Friday of this week. Last March Tam reached the final of the Colony's open singles championship, finally losing to Taui Wal-pui in straight sets. On his way to the last round Tam over- came such prominent players 28 E. G. Fincher, Lal Kwong-tsun and Ho Ka-lau.
He was one of the most promising
of the junior tennis players in Hongkong, and performed with dis- tiaction when he played for the Intorport teata in Hanoi last year.
STUDIES CONCLUDED.
Tam has now concluded his on studies and has been recalled to Hanoi, where he expects to remain for a few years. Recently he made a trip to Shanghai, where he saw the Japanese Davis Cup players in action.
