Mr. Eu Tung-sen, the well-known multi-millionaire, ndled to the con siderable property he holds in the Colony yesterday when he acquired over 20,000 sq. ft. of land at a Crown lands sale hekl at the offices of the Public Works Department.

The plot, which is registered as Garilen Lot No. 86, adjoing Mr. Eu Tung-sen's magnificent residence at Repulse Bay, and it is his intention to develop it into a pleasure garden continguous, with this reallence.

Mr. Eu Tung-sen's representative at the sale was the only bidder for the property. which realised a price of $1,150.

HONGKONG BARRISTER PASSES AWAY

The death occurred on Sunday at his fongkong residence of Mr. Tycho Wing, at the age of 53

years.

Well-known in Shanghai where he had practised as a barrister for a great many years, the deceased only recently took up residence in the Colony. He was admitted to practice here some four

ago.
