Now York, Sept. 1. Col. Roscoe Turner, famous American airman, to-day broke his own west to cast trans-American the record. completing flight journey from Los Angeles to New York in 10 hours, five minutes. The distance is 2,600 miles.

Turner, accompanied by Clyde | Pangbourn, will participate in the London to Melbourne air race in October-Reuter.

According to United Press, Turner covered the distance from Los Angeles to New York in ten hours, three minutes, breaking his own record by three minutes.
