DERBY FINISH STRONGLY
Sussex finished runners-up to Lancashire, champions of the county cricket tournament, as a result of the first innings defeat of Yorkshire at Hove to-day. This decision also had the effect of keeping York- shire down to fourth place, both Derbyshire and Warwick tak ing precedence over the .1933 champions.
Raine throughout the country hindered the list three days' pro- grammo of county cricket, and in only one match was a definite result obtained, Derbyshire boat- ing Lolcenter by 42 runs to finish third in the table,
