A fruit bont, the California Express, which has limited pas- adnger nccommodation, landed the couple unexpectedly at Princes Dock in the afternoon, at the end of a 6,000 miles voyage from 8an. Pedro, near Los Angeles.

Buster's wife revealed that ha intends to smile in his next film, which will be shot in a Parisian studio. The amile is a condition of his contract.

He has been in the business since he was 21, and ho has never onco smiled in a film, sợ that a grin dn the solemn Keaton mask would be almost as grent a novelty as the sound of Charlie Chaplin's volce,

Mrs. Kenton made another ro- velation: Buater, sho says, has uxperimented with a broad grin in some of the Hollywood Alms, but before they reached the public, the laughing parts were cut out.

FORMER TRAGEDY

RE-ENACTED

A "ghost vision" which occurred to a girl in Kingsway, a busy London thoroughfare, recently, re- enacted a tragedy which happened almost, at the sama spot over a year ago, and of which the girl

was unaware,

While walking in Kingsway, the girl gave a sudden cry, throw up her arms, and collapsed.

She was rushed into a chemist's shop, where, after a time, she recovered.

Her explanation of the incident was remarkable

She was walking back to lier place of business, zhe said, when she got the impression that some-

The shock caused her to cry out and collapse, and she was in the chomist'e ahop for 20 minutes before she was considered well enough to be allowed to go.

"Nothing of the sort has happeni| ad to me before," she said, "and I can't understand how I got tho Idon of a body falling near me."

It was learned, afterwards, that about 18 months ago a giri did fall, with falal results, from one of the upper windows of a high bullding, practically at the spot where the girl collapsed.

Curiously enough, the latter girl had never heard of the tragedy which, by some peculiar delusion, she saw re-enacted in Kingsway's busy scene,
