DR. H. H. KUNG'S STATEMENT

Kuling, Aug. 19.

Dr. H. H.. Kung, Finance Minister, to-day stated that the Government has no in- tention of placing an embargo on a special tax on silver exports.

He does not regard the outflow of silver as abnormal and

says

that it is merely following the courao of foreign trade. As soon as it automatically balanced itself, the outflow of silver will be alowed down.
