Profound regret will be felt in business and social circles of the Colony at the news of the death of Atr. J. P.

Warren, director of Moara, Dodwell and Co., Ltd., Hongkong, which occurred in Lon don on Sunday, at the age of 58 yoara.

A charming personality. Mr. Warren, who was a bachelor, was immensely liked by all who enjoy ed his friendship. He was a man of sterling character and of most kindly disposition. A keen walker, he was a familiar figure on the byeways of the island, and was also keenly interested in climbing, fishing and shooting.

The flag of the Hongkong Club, of which he was a member, was Hlown at halfmast to-day as a mark of respect to the deceased.
