Mr. Wynne-Jones again warned Sia Chin-man, at the resumed in- quiry, held yesterday afternoon at the Kowloon Magistracy, into the circumstances attending the mysterious ares at Nos. 96 and 98 Fuk Wing Street, Shamshulpo, in the early hours of May 11.

Slu Chin-man, who had been warned at the last hearing to tell the truth, stated that he went to the Police station to make a re- port at 10 a.m. on May 11. The Police were the only people to whom he made a report about the Art.

At 8 a.m., he went to the Nathon Hotel, from where he made trunk call to Canton, in an at- tempt to get in touch with the manager of the Kun Kau Knitting Factory. He tried the Tung Ah Hotel and the Asin Hotel. In the intter hotel he found Li Ping-fay, a Chinese military officer and friend of Ko Kit-ping.
