REGISTRATION OF PERSONS ORDINANCE, 1934.

L Attention is drawn to thu provisions of the above Ordinance which comes into force on 1st June, 1934.

2. Unless specially exempted in writing

Inspector My tho General of Police or exempted by i Section 2 (5) of the Ordinance. every allen other than an alien of Chinese race who is resident in the Colony at the commencement of this Ordinance is required to report the fact in person or in writing for registration ut Police Headquarters within one month of such commencement, and every |such person who arrives in the Colony or who changes his ordin ary residential or business aldress or who is about to leave the Colony is required to report the fact at Police Headquarters with- in seventy-two hours after every such arrival or within one week. before every such change of addreas or intended departure.

3. In any case of doubt person shall be deemed to be an alien unless and until he produces a certifiante, passport or other evidence to the satisfaction of the Inspector General of Police or of Magistrate to the effect that he is a natural horn or naturalised British subject.
