Harbin, May 29, Scores of Japanese soldiers were killed and wounded when they fell into an ambush on the railway yesterday, as the result of a daring coup by a strong force of anti-Manchukuo bandits. The bandits pulled up the track on the Muling branch line near Pamyatun, and a Japanese troop train, speeding towards Muling was derailed and wrecked.
