Later on, you may wish to get another evening gown. Don't let anyone sell you a spring evening gown that will look positively wintry in July. Choose good styles made of fine fabrics and you'll be able to wear them until autumn.

Let's consider sulte. Do you like short jackets or have you a pen- chant for the odd-length coats? There, are Jackets of all lengths this spring and they give an oppor- tunity for great individuality.

Windblown coals are featured throughout the spring collections, but so are strictly tailored, double- breasted ones. If your coat la to be of the latter variety, then a dressmaker sult will permit greater

contrast in a wardrobe. In other words, it's more practical to have n dressy cont and a tailored suit, or vice versa.

Then consider that emart little silk frock to wear under the coat when you go shopping or, if you are a business woman, to the office. There are navy blue and black ones with white trimmings and dark green, red and gray tones that

shout the springtime mood of ant ardent shopper. Choose this ono from a practical viewpoint.

Oh, yes, we haven't forgotten about luncheon and ton gown. You do need an extra silk dress that is just a little bit more dressy. than that practical one. Why not a print?
