An exciting day's racing marked the closing of the Royal Hongkong Yacht Club's season on Saturday, a visitor on the Painted Lady falling overboard, the Ariel breaking her mast, and a number of protests for fouls being lodged.
At the conclusion of the races, the prizes won for the past season and for the afternoon were distributed by Mra, Shields, wife of Mr. A. L. Shields, Commodore of the Yacht Club, in the presence of a large gathering.
