THIS YEAR

Miami, Fla., Apr. 19, Two adventurers in knickers, Gene Sarazen and Joe Kirk- wood, started Ол д golfing

trail from here March 20 that will take them to the for corners of the earth.

Sarazen, the former American open champion and Kirkwood, the present Canadian champion, plan a year's tour covering more than 100,000 miles. visiting green courses the world over. On their Itinerary for next fall are Japan, China and the Philippines,

Their first stop was Santo Do- mingo, followed by a week's stay at San Juan, Puerto Rico.

After that comes a tour of South Amerien, with atops at Rio de Ja nuiro, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Santiago, Chile and up the west const to Panama and Mexico.

They will be back in the United States for the national open ut Merion, after which they will leave for England and the British open, followed by a six weeks' tour of the continent.

Prison Officers Meet The R.A.0.B. Club

The Prison Officors Moss played billiards maiches recently two against the R.A.0.B. Club and won the first by 5 points and the second 'by 60 points.

The first match was played at the R.A.O.B. Club on Friday, when the Prison Officers scored a total of 869 points to their opponents' total of 774.
