FUNERAL AT THE CATHOLIC CEMETERY YESTERDAY

BRITAIN TO ADOPT EMERGENCY MEASURE

London, Apr. 9.

In the House of Commons to-day the Prime Minister, Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, announced that in view of the serious water shortage in Britain, the Government has de- cided that emergency measures must be taken.
