A new team enters the field of competitive badminton in Hongkong this evening, when the Eliot Hall men's combina- tion from the University will engage St. Andrew's Church Club on the latter's court.

* Ellot Hall are reputed to have a. useful team, including players who have had a lot of experience of the game in Malaya.

Nevertheless, St. Andrew's are not turning out their strongest side, both E. F., Fincher and Fred Broadbridge standing down to make way for Sonny Bliss, the 'Kowloon footballer' and E, H. P. White.

The programme will consist of three men's doubles games and Rinilos.

St. Andrew's will be represented by A. S. Bllas and R. II. Wong, S. A. Broadbridge and II. Kow, E. H. P. White and A, E. P. Guest.

Hollywood, Calif., Mar. 30. Mickey Walker, foriner welter. weight and middlowoight champion of the world, came into his own here last night when he decisioncil Tom Patrick, of Los Angeles, In n 10-round contest.
